We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Field Services team in the underground department. The primary objective of this position is to provide safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment to install underground electricity services.

 

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Current Class-5 heavy vehicle driver’s licence and W (wheels), T (tracks), R (rollers) and F (forklift) driver licence endorsements.

  • Minimum five years’ experience in the contracting environment operating heavy vehicles and machinery, with a working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions.

  • Experience in the installation of underground cables, ducts and associated equipment desirable.

  • An absolute commitment to workplace and public safety

  • A strong customer service focus

  • A high level of physical fitness and a passion for working in the outdoors

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Self-motivation and initiative
