Electrical Engineering Scholarship awarded

The 2018 recipient of the MainPower Electrical Engineering scholarship is Harry Mander, a student in his final year of study at the University of Canterbury.

Harry is studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He says the $5,000 scholarship will help him focus on his studies, “This scholarship covers a large portion of my tuition fees for this year so will help reduce the burden of my student loan and cost of study materials during my final year at university”.

Harry plans to find work in the electrical engineering industry after he graduates, hoping to eventually move into a leadership role.
