Power line surveys in Kaikōura and Ashley
MainPower will be carrying out aerial power line asset inspections during the month of December.
The inspections will be conducted using a camera mounted on a helicopter flying at low level close to the power lines. The work will not affect electricity supply.
Areas where inspections will be taking place:
Kaikōura district (from Conway Flat Road up to South Bay)
Waimakariri district, Ashley (from Loburn Whiterock Road to Upper Sefton Road)
This work is dependent on suitable weather conditions, and will be conducted between Tuesday 1 December and Tuesday 15 December 2020.
