Monday October 31st, don’t miss it!

What is significant about October 31st this year at MainPower?

Well, this year our deadline for Community Fund nominations is Monday October 31st

What is the MainPower Community Fund?

The fund is our way of supporting community events, initiatives and schools within North Canterbury every year.

The fund allows for the community of North Canterbury to have their say about which charitable organisations and school projects they want to see supported.

The fund was launched back in 2015. Since then, the fund has grown with over 170 groups around North Canterbury receiving a share of $190,000 so far.

One of the great things about nominating a community group or school project is that you don’t have to be directly involved with the group or initiative to nominate them.

So, if you know of a deserving charitable organisation or a school project doing incredible things that you think MainPower should be supporting, then head to the apply for funding page on our website to find out more and submit a nomination.
