MainPower is committed to providing a safe and reliable electricity supply to all customers.

 

Safety is a key value within our organisation and underpins everything we do. We take our obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015) and the Electrical Workers Registration Board very seriously. This includes ensuring you are aware of the services we offer to help keep you safe when you are working near overhead lines or underground cables on your property.

We aim to provide a workplace which is safe and healthy for our employees, contractors, customers and the public. For more information we've created a fact sheet to share with you what MainPower has in place to achieve this aim.

All new customers receive a copy of our Connection Agreement when they are connected to our network. The agreement outlines the relationship between the customer and MainPower.

Under the Connection Agreement, customers must comply with MainPower's Network Connection Standards. These standards have been designed to ensure that the network continues to operate efficiently, reliably, securely and safely.
