Warm Homes Promotion

Since 2004 MainPower has made available to qualifying customers a programme called the Warm Homes Makeover. The programme has insulated over 900 homes in the MainPower region, making the homes warmer, more comfortable and more affordable to heat.

Following the May 2009 Government budget announcements on home insulation, MainPower has taken the opportunity to review how it will continue to work alongside the government’s Energywise funding project “Warm up New Zealand: Heat smart”.

An announcement will be made in the near future outlining how MainPower can assist its customers to insulate their homes in an affordable way.
