MainPower Oval is home for the Canterbury Wizards this season

The beautiful North Canterbury Cricket ground, MainPower Oval is going to be home to our Canterbury Wizards this season following the destruction of their own home ground at QEII Park in Christchurch.

Reminiscent of an English Country Cricket ground, the MainPower Oval is easily accessible, sheltered, and provides a good family atmosphere.

Games

Three games in the HRV Cup Twenty/20 Challenge will be held MainPower Oval. 

• 18 December, 2.00pm (Sunday) - Canterbury Wizards vs Northern Knights
• 3 January (Tuesday) - Canterbury Wizards vs Auckland Aces
• 8 January (Sunday) - Canterbury Wizards vs Central Stags

Three four-day Plunket Shield Matches will feature in November, two in February and one in late March.

There will also be four Men’s 1-Day Competitions at the MainPower Oval across the season.
