Warm Families – Keep Warm, Stay Healthy Canterbury
We are proud to support Warm Families – Keep Warm, Stay Healthy Canterbury, a community project aimed to improve the health of low-income Canterbury families by turning their damp, cold homes into warm, dry and healthy homes.
We join EECA and other funding partners from the Canterbury energy, environmental and health sectors, in a combined aim to spend up to $5 million per year installing insulation and clean, energy-efficient heating into Canterbury’s damp, cold homes to help reduce poor health.
Organisations involved in Warm Families include the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, MainPower, Orion, Partnership Health Canterbury, Canterbury District Health Board, Community Energy Action, Christchurch City Council, Environment Canterbury, and Meridian Energy.
