Please note: Check whether a single or three phase supply is required before applying for a new connection as some rural sub divisions are required to be three phase supply.  

To get connected (new connection and temporary supply)

If you have a power supply to your site, you can complete our online connection application to connect to the MainPower network. This can be completed by an electrician, builder or customer. Because electrical information is required, you may not be able to complete the application without expert advice. We suggest you speak with your electrician if you are unsure of exactly what type of electricity supply is needed.

To enquire about getting a power supply

We need to check if a suitable power supply is available to your site (this could be a servicebox or power pole on the boundary to your site). If power is not readily available, we will provide a new power design and quotation for your power supply. If you don't have a power supply or you are not sure, please complete a new power supply request.

Please note: All applications for new electricity supplies will need to be submitted by Friday 17 November 2017 in order to be completed before the holiday period.
