Introduced in 2015, the Community Fund is a way for the local community to have a say in which groups they think need funding support the most.
The annual contestable fund is open to public vote with $20,000 up for grabs by local groups including charitable organisations, cultural organisations and schools.
The fund has been a great success with over 9,500 votes for 1,274 groups over three years, with $50,000 going to 14 fund recipients.
The 2018 Community Fund will open in August 2018.
