North Canterbury Riding for the Disabled
Riding for the Disabled is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation that provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulating, therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities. This is the third time that RDA has been a recipient of the Community Fund.

Based in Kaiapoi, You, Me, We, Us is a group of volunteers that hold a variety of community events and initiatives throughout the year.
Amberley Community Pool Society
The Amberley Community Pool, built in 1927, is owned on the communities’ behalf by the Hurunui District Council. The Amberley Community Pool Society is on a mission to raise funds to ensure that everyone in the community will benefit from being able to use a new indoor heated, all-year-round pool facility. This is the second year that the society has been a recipient of the Community Fund.
Rachel's House Trust
Rachel's House Trust supports young parents and families through a variety of means, from offering mentoring services to providing the material needs of young families.
Rangiora High (Sheppard House)
Sheppard House is one of the house group of Rangiora High School. The house carry out fundraising activities throughout the year for their chosen charity, Ronald McDonald House.
Omihi School
Omihi School will put their donation towards an outdoor work space for their tamariki.
North Canterbury BMX Club
Based in Rangiora, the BMX Club will be putting their donation towards the state-of-the-art BMX track that the club are building.
Mini Ha Ha Horse Haven
The Ha Ha Horse Haven takes in abandoned, abused or neglected mini horses and ponies with the goal of rehabilitating them and finding them permanent homes. The Horse Haven also offers animal therapy sessions.
Rangiora Community Choir
The Rangiora Community Choir is a friendly 'no audition required' adult choir. They hold several concerts a year. The funding will go towards making their concerts as accessible as possible to the community.
Big Brothers Big Sisters North Canterbury
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to make a positive difference in the lives of tamariki through strong and enduring, professionally supported, mentoring relationships. Mentors and their little brothers or sisters spend time together doing activities they both enjoy.
Rangiora Toy Library
Rangiora Toy Library is a vibrant and growing non-profit charitable organisation providing fun and educational toys to the children of North Canterbury. The funding will go towards replacing some older, but much loved, toys and new safety equipment.
Southbrook School has around 350 students from new entrant to year 8. The school will put the funding towards landscaping outdoor areas for their children to enjoy.
Leithfield School
Leithfield School is a year 1-8 school with a long 150 year history. The donation will go towards projects within the school.
