Graphic Designer

We have a fixed term opportunity for a suitably experienced Graphic Designer to work 15-20 hours per week for a six-month period.

You will have highly creative abilities within various applications (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, HTML) and you will be able to provide a current portfolio with clear examples of visual design in both print and digital. The role also requires assistance with marketing tasks, and support and attendance at events as required.

Ideally you will have:

  • 2+ years graphic design experience
  • Proficiency in the entire Adobe Suite, with advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with excellent skills in Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail, with experience in proofing and preparing files for print and online publication
  • Self-discipline, with great time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of managing projects from concept to completion
  • Photography and editing skills (desirable).

Network Services Representative

Line Mechanics

If you have a passion for working outdoors, enjoy working as part of a team while providing a service for the local community, and are a qualified Line Mechanic, then this could be the job for you. We are seeking qualified
distribution Line Mechanics to join our Overhead team to undertake maintenance and capital works on our overhead distribution network. Some manual civil work is also required as part of this role.

Network Controller

We are looking for a Controller to join our Network Operations team. This role is responsible for helping our team safely and effectively manage the daily power systems operation for our Network.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical qualification (or equivalent), relevant industry experience, preferably in distribution network control, have a strong commitment to public and workplace safety, effective communication skills and attention to detail.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring power system SCADA load management and radio communications.
  • Controlling contractor access to the MainPower power system.
  • Communicating with and monitoring field workers to help ensure their continued safety.
  • Managing planned and unplanned power systems interruptions, restoring power in an effective manner.
  • Providing good customer service, including direct communication, notifications, and timely responses.
  • Preparing operating orders and works orders.
  • Participating in an after-hours duty roster to ensure 24-hour coverage.
  • Assisting in identifying and mitigating quality of supply issues.
  • Managing safety isolations, High Load escorts, and contractor Close Approach consents.
  • Controlling livening of newly commissioned or installed equipment.
  • Maintaining system records including outage statistics, livening notices, operating orders, and the operational log.
